Yanglan has a combination of engineering and finance educational background, with a bachelor degree in engineering management from Tongji University and master degree in international finance from HEC Paris.

She has gained international professional experiences before joining nr2, working as a private equity analyst in Butler Industries to set up cross-border real estate fund and invest in local China early stage start-ups, and an investment manager for a Beijing-based fund to help bring Western technology companies to China's market.
